ソフトウェアアップデート: Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.5 リリース

2010年11月11日、AppleからMac OS X 10.6.5がリリースされています。適用はソフトウェア・アップデートから、OSの再起動が必要となります。

同時にMac OS X Server 10.6向けにもバージョン10.6.5がリリースされています。こちらもOSの再起動が必要で、サーバー管理ツールからか、ソフトウェア・アップデートで適用できます。

Mac OS X 10.6向けの変更内容は以下の通り。

10.6.5 アップデートは、Mac OS X Snow Leopard を使用しているすべてのユーザにお勧めします。このアップデートではオペレーティングシステムの一般的な修正が行われ、お使いの Mac の安定性、互換性、およびセキュリティが向上しています。主な修正は以下の通りです：

• Microsoft Exchange サーバ使用時の信頼性が向上
• iPhoto および Aperture での画像処理に関する一部の操作でパフォーマンスが向上
• グラフィックスアプリケーションおよびゲームの安定性とパフォーマンスが向上
• プリントジョブで遅延が起きる問題を修正
• 一部の HP 社製プリンタで AirMac Extreme に接続時に起きるプリントの問題を修正
• アドレスブックから iCal に連絡先をドラッグする際に起きる問題を修正
• Dock のスタックから項目をドラッグする際に Dock の表示が自動的に隠れない問題を修正
• 辞書で Wikipedia の情報が正しく表示されない問題を修正
• 一部の Mac システムで MainStage のパフォーマンスが向上
• OpenType フォントで起きるスペーシングの問題を修正
• 一部の Bluetooth 点字ディスプレイ使用時の信頼性が向上
• Safari 5 で一部の Web サイトの閲覧時に起きる VoiceOver の問題を修正

Mac OS X Server 10.6向けの変更内容は英語で表示されるのですが、以下の通り。

• – importing of iChat accounts with Managed Preferences
• – preventing network homes being used after mobile accounts enabled
• – corrections to the iCal Preference Manifest
• – viewing of IPP print queues with Workgroup Manager
• – reliability of External Accounts with FAT32 file systems
